AMÉLIE BRUNEAU LONGPRÉ
DIRECTOR AND MAKEUP ARTIST
In 2003, Amélie Bruneau-Longpré launched her career as a makeup artist, an endeavour embellished by the shades of her personal touch. Each subject represents an opportunity for Amélie, as it would for a painter, to play with shadows, light, form and colours, and therefore adventure along the unique aesthetic avenues of individual personalities. Amélie’s distinguished talent and creativity has allowed her to quickly begin working alongside renowned photographers. Her work can be seen in many magazines, including Urbania, Kill, Snap, Coup de pouce, LouLou and Jobboom. Stone Ridge, Little Burgundy, Rudsak, Itsus, Miss Caprice and the Casino de Montréal are among Amélie’s list of clients. She has also worked with a number of Quebec artists, ranging from Louise Lecavalier to Pierre Lapointe, including Gad Elmaleh, René Angelil, Anne-Marie Cadieux, Pénéloppe Mc Quade, Céline Bonnier and Pascale Buissière. Her artistry can also be seen in music videos for Marie-Mai, Thomas Hellman, as well as for European musician Ycare.
